We were established in 1894 as a place of worship and source of fundamental Bible teaching for those who chose to come to Sherman County in those early days. 114 years have brought multitudes of change to the County as well as the Church. Combines have replaced horses in the fields and the Church is in its third building and in its third location in Grass Valley. But 114 years have also maintained some constants. We still raise wheat on the land and we still preach the Gospel in the Church.

First Baptist has made a commitment to reach Sherman County for Jesus Christ. As you tour this site you will find that we offer ministry to children, youth groups, men's and women's groups and seniors. Our desire is to provide a means whereby you can enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ while finding a church home where God is worshipped and friends are welcomed.
